Villageguru Innovations Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”) operating under the brand name Urban Fresh respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use http://www.urbanfresh.co, our mobile application, and related services for seafood and agriculture products.

A. Information You Provide:

  • Account Data: Name, mobile number, email, password
  • Delivery Data: Shipping address, landmark, PIN code, alternate contact
  • Payment Data: UPI ID, card details are processed by Razorpay/PayU. We do NOT store CVV or card numbers
  • Order Data: Products purchased, order history, preferences
  • Communication: Customer support chats, calls, feedback

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Device Data: IP address, device ID, browser type, OS version
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, app features used, crash reports
  • Location Data: Delivery location, delivery partner tracking – only with permission

C. Information from Fishermen Partners:

  • Bank account for payments, Aadhaar/PAN for KYC, catch details, boat registration

We DO NOT sell your personal data. We share only with:

  1. Delivery Partners: Name, address, phone for last-mile delivery
  2. Payment Gateways: Razorpay, PayU for transaction processing – PCI-DSS compliant
  3. Cloud Services: AWS/Google Cloud for secure data hosting in India
  4. Government Authorities: When required by law, FSSAI, or court order
  5. Fishermen Partners: Only aggregated order demand, never customer personal details

5. Data Security

  • Encryption: 256-bit SSL for all transactions. Passwords are hashed
  • Cold Storage: Customer data and fish are both kept secure – servers in India
  • Access Control: Only authorized staff can access data for order support

KEY TERMS & CONDITIONS – URBAN FRESH

1. Products & Pricing

  1. All seafood is subject to daily catch availability. Prices may vary 10% based on boat auction rates
  2. Images are representative. Actual fish size/weight may vary ±10%
  3. 12-Hour Fresh Promise: Delivery timeline starts from dispatch, not order time. Delay due to weather/traffic not covered

2. Orders & Cancellation

  1. COD orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Prepaid orders: 80% refund if cancelled before dispatch
  2. We reserve right to cancel orders due to no stock, quality issues, or undeliverable area
  3. Minimum Order Value: ₹399 for free delivery in operational cities

3. Shipping & Returns

  1. Delivery: 12-24 hours in Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada. 24-48 hours other AP/TS cities
  2. No Returns: Due to perishable nature of seafood, returns not accepted per FSSAI guidelines
  3. Quality Issue: If product is spoiled on delivery, share unboxing video within 2 hours to support@urbanfresh.co for 100% refund/replacement
  4. Customer unavailability after 3 delivery attempts = order cancelled, 50% refund

4. Fishermen Partner Policy

  1. Urban Fresh is an aggregator. Fishermen are independent partners, not employees
  2. We ensure fair price based on daily Vodalarevu auction + 15% premium minimum
  3. Payment to fishermen: T+1 day via UPI/Bank transfer

5. Limitation of Liability

Urban Fresh is not liable for allergic reactions. Customers must check for seafood allergies before consumption. Our liability is limited to order value.

6. Governing Law

All disputes subject to Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh jurisdiction only.
